Buena Vista Eleganza located just ten minutes from the beautiful Centro Historico of Guanajuato, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the colonial heartland of Mexico. This lovely new private house with dramatic inner space overlooks the sierra la Bufa and the UCEA, the newest campus of the University of Guanajuato. On the main level you'll find our comfortable living room with fireplace, the dining room, gourmet kitchen [with all new appliances], 1/2 bath and what we call the Harem Room which can serve a third bedroom or just a whimsical 'cozy'. Upstairs the master bedroom with private bath has a king-sized bed. The second bedroom has two single beds. On this level you'll also find a sitting/reading room, terrace and second bathroom
We are in Marfil, and in a new area of modern homes in this sought after suburb of Guanajuato. A car would be handy for day trips outside of town but given the layout of central Guanajuato really more of a liability than an asset. Just five minutes down the hill is a city bus stop. Frequent taxis pass by as well. Colonial
